Bollywood, the second-largest film industry in the world, produces nearly 500 movies annually, though the exact number varies from year to year. The Hindi film industry will have a big year in 2023 with some significant releases planned.
- Pathaan
Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, was released in theaters on January 25, 2023. The Siddharth Anand-directed film promises to deliver action-packed entertainment with previously unseen action and stunts. Salman Khan will also make a significant cameo appearance that introduces the YRF spy universe. It is a must-watch film for diehard Shah Rukh fans and even for action lovers.
- Shehzada
Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon are the leading actors in Allu Arjun’s hugely successful Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which has been officially translated into Hindi as Shehzada. It will now be seen in theaters on February 17 rather than the weekend before Valentine’s Day as originally planned, where its initial release date was set for November 2022.
- Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan
Salman Khan will continue releasing his films right before Diwali on Eid. Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Venkatesh, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Palak Tiwari, and Vijender Singh are a few of the actors featured in the action comedy. - Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani
After roughly seven years since his last movie, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Karan Johar is getting ready to release Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, another star-studded comedy. Given what we’ve seen of their on-screen chemistry, it will be intriguing to see what Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh do next. It is slated to be released in theaters on April 28, 2023.
- Jawan
Jawan, another action movie starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan and the talented Lady Superstar Nayanthara, is set for release on June 2, 2023. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist. After receiving harsh criticism, the film’s creators decided to improvise the movie’s visual effects and delayed the release. Tiger 3, the third installment in the Tiger series, would expand the Yash Raj Films spy universe and star Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. It is directed by Maneesh Sharma and portrays Shah Rukh Khan in his Pathaan persona as a pivotal cameo role in the film.
